UK companies win funds for two sustainable fuel projects
The UK’s Ecomar Propulsion is to lead a project to develop a 1-MW emissions-free hydrogen hybrid powertrain for large ships to be built in the company’s Hampshire research facility. It will also be involved in a second initiative to design a ship capable of using the propulsion technology in UK and European renewable energy projects, notably offshore wind. Germany’s O.S.
