Finland seeks autonomous marine transport system in the Baltic Sea
Ecosystem | The Finnish Marine Industries Association says it is creating an “ecosystem” for development of the world’s first autonomous marine transport system in the Baltic Sea by 2025, starting with cargo ships. There are nearly 80 companies in the ecosystem, the largest investors being Cargotec, Ericsson, Meyer Turku, Rolls-Royce, Tieto and Wärtsilä.
