Launch of integrated vessel concepts
New strategy | Kongsberg Maritime has launched a portfolio of “fully integrated vessel concepts” designed to harmonise handling, operations and energy systems on a wide range of specific vessel types. The concepts are the product of the Norwegian company’s new integration strategy established this summer to leverage existing and new Kongsberg technologies to achieve tangible operational efficiency improvements. By applying its integration strategy to specific vessels, Kongsberg says it has created a new level of integration enabling more dynamics and distributed power management among disparate systems on board.
