September 2016 | Editor

Offshore wind farm | Siemens has installed a crucial grid connection for the Dudgeon offshore wind farm, 32km off the coast of Norfolk, England, in the North Sea. Meant to power more than 410,000 British homes when fully developed in early 2017, the wind farm is owned – through the joint venture company Dudgeon Offshore Wind Limited – by the Norwegian energy companies Statoil and Statkraft along with Masdar, an international investor in renewable energy and sustainable technology based in Abu Dhabi. Statoil will operate the wind farm.
