FUEL CONSUMPTION | The Marine Environment Protection Committee (MEPC) of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) has approved mandatory requirements for ships to record and report their fuel consumption, a move that sends a clear signal about IMO’s continuing commitment to climate change mitigation.
