Validation phase for sea traffic management concept
MONALISA 2.0 | To harmonise sea traffic and maritime data interchange, the European research project MONALISA 2.0 developed a concept for consistent sea traffic management (STM) over the last three years. The follow-up STM Validation Project began in January and will prepare implementation of the STM concept using large-scale simulations in test beds, writes Wilko C. Bruhn of the Fraunhofer Center for Maritime Logistics and Services (Fraunhofer CML) in Hamburg, one of the project’s German participants.
