Bulk carriers | Australian mining and commodity group BHP is planning to order its first ammonia-fuelled bulk carriers as part of the company’s plans to cut shipping emissions. BHP has shortlisted eight unnamed companies for the building, operation, and fuel supply of at least one such vessel, said Rashpal Singh Bhatti, vice president of Maritime and Supply Chain Excellence at BHP.
