Timecharter deal on dual-fuel Aframaxes signed
Petronas-owned Malaysia International Shipping Corporation (MISC) has signed timecharter contracts with Petco Trading Labuan Company Ltd (PTLCL) for what is claimed to be the world’s first two new ammonia dual-fuelled Aframax tankers. The transaction was completed by MISC’s petroleum subsidiary, Singaopore-based AET, which has signed shipbuilding contracts for the tankers with Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Co. Ltd, a subsidiary of China State Shipbuilding Corporation.
