Implementation date for Tier III NOx standards confirmed
MEPC 66 The Marine Environment Protection Committee (MEPC) of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) recently met for its 66th session in London. Among other things, the committee confirmed January 1st 2016 as the implementation date for NOx regulations (Tier III standards) in already designated Emission Control Areas (EC As).
