Transport concept for offshore wind turbines and special cargo
VG6000-E A group of Dutch companies have joined forces to construct a multi-purpose special cargo vessel for the offshore industry. Three of the 6,000-dwt, twin-screw, open-top vessels, which have diesel-electric propulsion and can also transport bulk goods as well as 20- and 40-foot containers, have been built so far. More orders are expected.
