Construction of an offshore all-rounder
PIETER SCHELTE A giant vessel for single-lift installation and removal of offshore platforms as well as installation of heavy oil and gas pipelines, the Pieter Schelte impresses with its dimensions and multi-functionality. Ordered by Swiss-based Allseas, a global leader in offshore pipe laying and subsea construction, the 382m-long and 124m-wide behemoth is being built in South Korea with delivery scheduled in the second half of 2014.
