The implementation of LNG: challenges and solutions
SHIP‘S FUEL Using LNG as ship’s fuel has so far been limited by various factors: technology, bunkering infrastructure, the evolution of regulation and training, and commercial considerations as well. There is, however, sufficient interest to suggest that owners could make it work for specific long-range trades, writes Sean Bond, director of Environmental Solutions at the classification society ABS.
