RORO SHIPS AND FERRIES Fast ferries offer significant potential for fuel savings. While Norwegian operators are increasingly opting for LNG-driven vessels, designers in Japan have developed an air bubble system that has been fitted on a domestic RoPax ferry but could also improve the performance of other ship types.
