Reliable collation, processing and distribution of data
FLAGSHIP Securing robust data from a ship’s engine is a major part of establishing a performance management system. However, ensuring that the data is correctly processed and presented to the crew is where maximum value can be added. The Flagship TCI project, partly funded by the EU, secures robust engine performance data and utilises developments in satellite communication and the Internet, which allows information to be rapidly collated, processed and distributed.
