Limitation matrices for fire, gas, smoke and water safety
SEALING SYSTEM Cable and pipe penetrations have to ensure gastight, watertight and fire-proof conditions. Contrary to other safety measures on board offshore installations and vessels, sometimes these fixtures are only inspected when installed. Up-to-date technology, advanced materials and continuous test programmes are therefore required.
