Low sulphur diesel can lead to extensive wear

FUEL LUBRICITY The phenomenon of abnormal and high pump wear rates caused by the loss of lubricity in low sulphur diesel fuels are not only well documented, but have been studied extensively in Europe and North America. Lubricity improvers act to restore the natural lubricity and reduces the risk of extensive wear.
