Methanol-fuelled PCTCs | MacGregor, a Cargotec subsidiary, has won a contract to provide cargo handling components for two of the world’s first methanol-fuelled pure car and truck carriers (PCTCs), which are to be built in China. The vessels, due for delivery during the second half of 2025, are being built by China Merchants Heavy Industry (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd. for China Merchant Energy Shipping (CMES). MacGregor will design and supply a range of components, including external and internal ramps, covers, electrically operated doors, and liftable car decks....
