Carbon capture for general cargo ships
Germany’s Grona Shipping has released details of the conceptual and basic engineering developed by technology group Sener for shipboard carbon capture systems. The Sener design has also focused on optimised hull forms to minimise resistance at sea. The carbon capture systems have been designed for two LNG-powered general cargo vessels of 6,000dwt and 9,100dwt which operate in the North and Baltic Seas.
