Shippers to benefit from new ‘ECO Delivery’ service

A.P. Møller-Maersk and Amazon have agreed a deal to ship 20,000 forty-foot-equivalent containers in vessels using low greenhouse gas (GHG) fuel options, including bio-diesel and green methanol. The ECO Delivery ocean service will run through the fourth consecutive year in which the companies have arranged low-carbon fuel options and will cut 44,600 tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent emissions.
