Project to develop hydrogen-fuelled engines underway
With funding from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection, MAN Energy Solutions together with industry and research institutes have set up the HydroPoLEn project to focus on concepts for hydrogen-fuelled medium-speed engines for ships. The initiative will focus on issues such as injection, ignition, and advanced tribological systems.
