Order for new cruise vessel
Vard | Fincantieri’s subsidiary Vard Holdings Limited, designer and builder of specialised vessels, has signed a contract with the Australian cruise operator Coral Expeditions for the design and construction of an expedition cruise vessel. The delivery of the new unit is scheduled for the first quarter of 2019 from the Vard Vung Tau shipyard in Vietnam. The vessel, measuring 93.5m in length with a beam of 17.2m, will be developed by Vard Design in Norway in close cooperation with the client. It will have a guest accommodation capacity of 120 and cruise in the Asia-Pacific regions.
