Fuel cell tug design moves to next stage
MHFC | The second design phase of a methanol hybrid fuel cell (MHFC) tug being developed by A.P. Møller-Mærsk subsidiary, Svitzer, and naval architects, Robert Allan Ltd., has now begun. Following technical studies to establish the feasibility of this type of vessel in typical tug operations, the next stage of development will involve the design of the vessel, scope considerations for vessel construction, and equipment selection.
