Zero-emission cruise venture targets hydrogen for fuel
Pioneering cruise executive, Rolf A. Sandvik, is planning to operate his zero-emission cruise ship, Northern Xplorer , using hydrogen as an energy carrier. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has now been signed by Norwegian companies engaged across the country’s developing hydrogen supply chain. The aim is to have a robust supply network in place by the time the cruise ship is delivered in 2025.
