Two new tugs and a workboat to join Svitzer Americas fleet
Expansion | Svitzer Americas is set to commission two new azimuth stern drive (ASD) tugs and a survey vessel before the end of November. The new vessels will take the A.P. Møller-Maersk subsidiary’s fleet to 82 units deployed across the Americas region. The Svitzer Abaco , a Damen 2312 type with a bollard pull of 70 tonnes, is being built at Damen’s Vietnamese shipyard and will be deployed in the Bahamas. The Svitzer Isabella , with the same bollard pull and built to a Ramparts 2400SX design, is destined for operations in the Dominican Republic....
