Furetank signs up for two more Vinga-class tankers
Newbuildings | Swedish tanker company, Furetank, has ordered two more dual-fuel product tankers at China Merchants Jinling Shipyard in Yangzhou for delivery in late 2024 and early 2025. The 17,999dwt ice-class tankers, with a total cargo capacity of 20,306m3 in twelve epoxy-coated tanks, are numbers 14 and 15 in the Vinga-class series. They ships have scored the best energy efficiency design index (EEDI) ratings of any tankers in their segment, Furetank said in a statement.
