New anchor installation system for offshore renewable energy requirements
Edinburgh-based Sustainable Marine has launched a new remotely operated rock anchor installation system. The company unveiled AROV2, which enables the direct embedment of anchors into the seabed, at Wind Energy Hamburg 2022. It plans to market the system through its Swift Anchors division which focuses on faster and more competitive mooring arrangements for the offshore renewables sector, including the rapidly expanding floating wind segment.
