Maersk Supply Service wins floating wind farm deal
| Maersk Supply Service (MSS) has won a contract to provide transport and installation support for three 10-MW wind turbines at a French floating offshore wind farm, Eoliennes Flottantes du Golfe du Lion ( EFGL ), in the Mediterranean Sea. The pilot project is being developed by a joint venture between Ocean Winds and CDC Investment Works. The contract has been awarded by Eiffage Métal, the engineering, procurement, construction, installation (EPCI) contractor for the project. The wind farm will be sited 16 km off the coast in the Gulf of Lion, one of the windiest areas of sea in France....
