Dual-fuel hydrogen propulsion initiative
Volvo Penta and CMB.TECH are to extend their five-year collaboration to develop dual-fuel hydrogen-powered engines for land and sea applications. The partners have cooperated since 2017 in the development of a conversion kit provided by CMB.TECH enabling Volvo Penta engines to operate on a dual-fuel hydrogen and diesel setup.
