New multi-vision display launched to support integrated bridge systems
single interface | The new Series X 55” ultra-high definition console-mounted multi-vision display from Norway’s Hatteland Display has been designed specifically to support integrated bridge systems (IBS) and Electronic Chart Display Information Systems (ECDIS). Fast and easy integration is possible and there is scope for technology manufacturers to combine multiple ship operating functions into a single-user interface. As a large format unit, it provides the screen size necessary to integrate a range of diverse data into just one display. The company claims that the Series X 55” multi-vision display is actually the largest 4K unit available for console mounting within the IBS sector. The resolution provides pixel perfect clarity, Hatteland says, with the sharpest and clearest image quality, and unmatched brightness and contrast. This ensures that a range of different data can be easily viewed under all conditions.
