Schaller Automation

May 2017 | Editor

Stand C01-01a Germany’s Schaller Automation will have its Visatron® Oil Mist Detector (OMD), which is used on more than 54,000 two- and four-stroke engines with a power of 1,500 kW and above, on display at the show in Oslo. The unit can be applied to large diesel, gas and dual-fuel engines to protect them against crankcase explosions. Schaller’s new OMD VN301plus offers features such as an active optical cleaning system and a wear-free extraction of engine crankcase atmosphere. In combination with its floating-zero-function, the features make the system false alarm free. The 301plus as well as the VN115/87plus are also available as ATEX certified. www.schaller.de
