Hempel Marine

May 2017 | Editor

Stand D02-25 In Oslo, coating manufacturer Hempel Marine will inform visitors about its latest products. According to them, maintaining a clean hull is probably the cheapest way of minimising fuel costs and related CO2 emissions. Selecting the right hull coating stops fouling organisms from attaching to a vessel’s hull to cause drag as the ship passes through the water, Hempel says. Among the products on display will be Hempel’s fouling defence coating Hempaguard X7 which was recently chosen by Neptune Lines for a number of vessels. www.hempel.com
