New fish farm support vessel
The first completed unit in a new class of fish farm support vessels was demonstrated during a recent open day at Damen Shipyards Gorinchem. The UV 4312 is a 43m-long utility vessel which builds on the development and design features of the smaller UV 2410. The vessel on show was built for Norway-based Volt Service and, following the open day, it sailed for Norway where modular delousing equipment in being installed prior to a formal christening at the end of May.
