Classification society launches new app to aid fuel management
Classification society Bureau Veritas (BV) has unveiled the first part of a two-phase application to help ship operators comply with energy efficiency regulations. Phase 1 of My Fuel Consumption, as the app is called, enables the operators of BV-classed ships to complete and submit their Ship Energy Efficiency Management Plans (SEEMP) Part II as required by the International Maritime Organization’s (IMO) data collection system. They can then review progress online and download confirmation of compliance....
