New Finnish consortium to focus on marine digitalisation
Fourteen Finnish companies have joined INTENS, described as a “research-industry collaborative consortium”, to advance, promote and digitalise Finland’s marine industries, focusing specifically on energy efficiency improvement and emissions reduction from ships’ energy systems. Supported by a EUR 5.6 million grant from Business Finland, the consortium members have committed more than EUR 13 million to the project over the next three years.
