Arrangement to ensure continuous connectivity
Satellite antenna system provider Intellian has launched GX Mediator that enables automatic switching between two Global Xpress (GX) antennas mounted on board ship to avoid blockage. Designed for vessels that require uninterrupted connectivity at all times, the GX Mediator automatically controls and manages two GX antennas simultaneously to prevent network outages if one antenna fails because of obstruction or geographical blockage.
