Russian multipurpose icebreaker named

Yevgeny Primakov | The multi-purpose icebreaking supply vessel, Yevgeny Primakov , built at Arctech Helsinki Shipyard under the classification of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RS), was named recently in St Petersburg. The vessel is the last in a four-ship series, built to RS class under a long-term agreement between Sovcomflot and Sakhalin Energy, for deployment in the Sea of Okhotsk. The 104.4m-long vessel, like its sisters, has been designed for a range of tasks including standing by offshore oil and gas platforms operating in ice conditions where ice ridges and heavy ice floes present specific hazards....
