Stake acquisition | Aker Solutions ASA, a Norwegian oil services company, has bought a 5% stake in California-based Principle Power Inc which has developed floating technology for offshore wind turbines known as WindFloat. Aker has an option to buy another 5% holding by the end of this year and a further option to increase its stake at a later date.
