Acta Marine orders second CSV

Acta Marine has ordered a second offshore walk-to-work (W2W) vessel at Norway’s Ulstein Verft. A SX195 design, the DP2 construction support vessel (CSV) is 93.4m long and 18m wide. Like its sister vessel Acta Auriga , which is expected to be delivered in the next few weeks, it is optimised for the offshore wind industry and will be equipped with a large, centrally positioned W2W motion-compensated gangway and elevator tower for personnel and cargo transfers and a 3D compensated crane capable of 6-tonne cargo lifts, all provided by Dutch manufacturer SMST....
