Upward trend for highly specialised vessels continues
Overview Asian shipbuilders in China, South Korea and Japan are increasingly turning to the construction of highly specialised vessels to supplement their traditional mass production of standard ships. While they are still spearheading the list of shipbuilding nations, their capacities and strategies need to be reshaped in order to keep up with emerging technologies and future demand.
