Rolls-Royce has opened a new Research & Development Centre for Autonomous Ships in Turku, Finland, where it plans to continue the development of technologies, together with partners, that are likely to shape the future of what the company expects to be an increasingly autonomous global shipping industry. The new facility will incorporate a Remote and Autonomous Experience Space designed to demonstrate the technologies that Rolls-Royce has already introduced, as well as those that are still under development....
