First Elevation Series CSOV launched
Windcat Rotterdam | The first in a series of six commissioning service operation vessels (CSOV) in the Elevation Series, the Windcat Rotterdam , has been launched at Ha Long Shipyard in Vietnam. Developed together with Damen Shipyards Group and CMB.TECH, the vessel can accommodate up to 120 persons in single and double cabins. The 89m-long CSOV has three main engines providing power for a diesel-electric setup with a Corvus Energy battery, an auxiliary generator powered by a MAN dual-fuel hydrogen engine, two pairs of Schottel azimuth thrusters fore and aft, and a 3D motion compensated gangway and crane with a capacity of ten tonnes...
