Maersk to upgrade satcom systems
A.P. Møller-Maersk and Inmarsat Maritime have agreed a deal to upgrade satellite communication systems across the liner major’s entire fleet of owned vessels. The agreement, covering an estimated 340 ships, will see the upgrades carried out over the course of this year and next.
