Seatrium delivers first Japanese vessel with carbon capture system

Nexus Victoria | Seatrium has performed the first commercial installation of an onboard carbon capture system (OCCS) on a Japanese ship, retrofitting LR1 tanker Nexus Victoria with a Value Maritime ‘Filtree’ CCS device. The project was carried out in partnership with Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. The installation involved detailed engineering and system upgrades, ensuring Nexus Victoria can now capture a proportion of its carbon emissions while maintaining operational efficiency.
