Kongsberg wins subsea construction ship deal
Olympic Group | Kongsberg Maritime has landed a two-ship design contract from Olympic Group for multi-purpose subsea vessels. These are the first ships in the new UT7623 sustainable energy vessel (SEV) series. They will be methanol-ready and have battery hybrid technology. The ship designs have been developed jointly between the two companies Designed to work in challenging conditions at sea, the vessels will incorporate a range of high-tech systems.
