Advancing 3D software and digital workflows
French state-owned shipbuilder, Chantiers de l’Atlantique, has signed a collaborative agreement with Napa, a ClassNK-owned maritime software and digital design house, to develop advanced 3D software and digital workflows. The partners will deploy Napa Steel, a structural design tool, integrated with software used in the production design process, to improve communication and data flows between engineers and naval architects.
