AiP for unmanned ammonia engine room
Classification society ABS has awarded approvals in principle (AiPs) for two ammonia-related engine room technologies developed by HD Korea Shipbuilding and Offshore Engineering (HD KSOE) and HD Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI). The AiPs relate to an Unmanned Ammonia Engine Room for Ammonia-Fueled Ship, and an Artificial Intelligence Safety Package for Unmanned Engine Room for Ammonia-Fueled Ship.
