New floating offshore wind guidance issued
In another positive signal for the offshore wind industry, Lloyd’s Register (LR) has published its first Recommended Practice (RP) for floating offshore wind turbine (FOWT) support structures. The guidance includes specification of important aspects of site condition assessment, design manufacturing, transport, installation and commissioning of FOWTs.
