Converted PSV completes first project
Ross Eagle | The platform supply vessel (PSV) H ighland Eagle , built by Norway’s Brattvaag Shipyard in 2003, was this year converted into the special purpose vessel Ross Eagle with the addition of a 100-tonne A-frame and active heave-compensated winches. The vessel has just completed its first geotechnical project following the refit, which AGR, the owner of vessel operator Ross Offshore, said came in response to a scarcity of special purpose vessels, owing to growing demand for geotechnical surveys and seabed mapping in the offshore wind industry....
