Multraship names latest Damen tug
Multratug 36 | Terneuzen-based Multraship Towage & Salvage has named the most recent addition to its tug fleet. The 32m-long Multratug 36 , a Damen ASD 3212 design with a bollard pull of 89.5 tonnes, will be deployed in deep-sea and coastal towage, as well as salvage and other operations. The vessel, the latest in a three-tug contract, incorporates a range of additional features. These include IMO Tier III compliance provided by a Damen Marine NOx Reduction system, cutting NOx emissions by 80% compared with IMO Tier II requirements, FiFi-1 fire-fighting systems, and an anchor-handling upgrade for offshore operations...
