Is LNG heading for the back burner?
Methane Slip Despite several projects supported by leading owners and technology firms addressing the issue of methane slip reduction, unburnt methane from incomplete engine combustion remains a drawback for LNG-fuelled engines. Some experts are now suggesting that the impact of methane slip has been underestimated so far. Nick Savvides investigates.
